Marketing isn’t Advertising

Advertisement which means interrupting a bunch of people.

Almost everyone who learns marketing isn’t going to have enough money to interrupt everyone on with their ads.

Even if you could interrupt everyone with an ad, it might still not work because buying behavior or acceptance behavior has changed forever.

The world has moved from the contest of interrupting people to the race to earn attention and trust.

Understanding this makes us as marketers to develop practical empathy. To understand that people might not want what we want & might not need what we need. And that’s okay!
