No One Has a Calling

I used to be of the opinion of that we had a calling. But we don’t!

A calling means we’re supposed to come to this world and do just 1 thing, right?

I read an article by Seth Godin where he said what we have is a not a calling but a caring.

And that sticks.

Totally agree with that school of thought. Because some of us will be so many things as we journey through life.

The only calling we have is to care enough to do work that matters, work that’s worth doing, work that’s worth talking about.

Other than that, no one has a calling.
