We need to stop waiting to get picked.
There’s no influencer or celebrity that’s going to help us achieve our dreams.
Oftentimes, we act like we’re waiting to get picked or waiting to get rescued.
Truthfully, some of us even have the right to play the victim. Because we lack certain privileges.
The earlier we realize we keep playing the victim, the more we’d become better at being survivors. To make something out of nothing. To not give up on ourselves. To find our own voices.
No one’s coming. At least, not anytime soon.
