You Know What is Never Sufficient?

Reassurance!!!!!!!

If you’re lucky enough to get some.

When you wear a new set of shoes for a reunion party and someone compliments your shoes, you’ll feel reassured, right?

But then the next person doesn’t compliment you or maybe no one else even compliments you the whole time. Does that mean the rest never liked your shoes?

The point is, it’s exhausting. Looking for reassurance from yourself or from other people is a trap, it’s guilt and it’s a way to hide.
